Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki is the oldest daughter of three born in Stamford Connecticut in the year 1978 to Eileen Dolan (nee Medvey) and Dimitrios R. Psaki. Dimitrios R. Psaki is a retired real estate developer whose father emigrated in 1904 to Greece and whose maternal grandmother was Irish. The couple was married in 1976. Psaki has Polish ancestry. She graduated from Greenwich High School, 1996. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000, obtaining the degree of English as well as sociology. She is a part of the Chi Omega sorority. At William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete with the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki began her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then became deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will serve as an analyst for the 2022 United States election and the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, she will host a program on MSNBC's Peacock streaming site.
